How do I create my own workouts?
Posted by Weightplan.com Support on 17 July 2014 09:50 AM

The My Workouts list is empty when you first enter PT Client Manager.  This area can be used to create any new workouts you want to create.  You can edit or modify Weightplan’s pre-installed workouts, or create your own completely from scratch.

Note: My Workouts will ALWAYS show your own list of workouts (regardless of which client’s account you are viewing at the time).  This enables you to view your own workouts (including any customized ones you’ve added) and to plan them into each of your clients’ diaries as required.

You can create your own workouts by going to the My Workouts menu and clicking “Add New Workout”.

To set up a new workout you will be asked to add a Workout Title, Overview, Hints & Tips, and you have the option to upload an image that illustrates what the workout is.  Look at Weightplan workouts to get inspiration for what should be contained in each section.

You can create multi day workouts by clicking Add Day. You can also create rest days in a multi day workout by adding a new day but leaving the exercises empty for that day.

You can add any Weightplan exercises or your own newly created exercises to workouts in any order, to create unlimited workout options.

You can change the order of exercises in a workout or move them from one day to another by dragging the exercise bar (at the right of the exercise) when in edit mode.

Once you’ve selected your exercises, you can specify (if desired) weights, sets and reps, or duration and distance by clicking into each exercise. Alternatively you can leave any of these blank, so that clients can choose their own weight, or fill those in as they go.
